Honoring Howard Botts
42 Years of Public Service in Black Diamond
At the Chamber luncheon on Wednesday, March 17th, former Mayor Howard Botts was honored for his 42 years of service to the City of Black Diamond. Howard served first as a planning commissioner, then city councilmember, and then as mayor for 26 years. King County Councilmember Reagan Dunn read a proclamation signed by all nine King Councilmembers thanking Howard for his extraordinary service to the city.
Sharing in the moment with Howard was Dorothy, his wife of over 56 years.
Howard and Dorothy, we applaud you!
